How long have you been in business?
We opened our doors in 1999. The business has been growing steadily ever since.
What is your primary product or service?
We offer high quality Pilates instruction in group classes and private sessions. We cater to people who want to feel better, who want to look better, and who want a friendly neighborhood place to enhance their health.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was first introduced to Pilates in 1986 when I was a professional dancer sidelined with a back injury. The Pilates method was so successful at healing my body that I went back to my career touring with a musical theater show.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We pride ourselves on making your hour with us at Sanchez Street an oasis from stress and strain. Though we take our job seriously, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. Our students comment that the hour flies by as they laugh and sweat. Our motto is It's fun, it's fast, it works.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location. That seems just about right for me while my kids are still at home.

We are on the Sanchez St. right near 29th St. right next door to Alice's Chinese Restaurant.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, VISA and Mastercard.

We serve the entire Bay Area.

Carol LeMaitre owns the business and handles the day to day operation.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open 7 days a week. The hours vary according to our appt. schedule.
