EHS Pilates Institute is committed to keeping Pilates at the frontier of fitness and rehabilitation. In that pursuit, EHS offers world-class teacher trainings and continuing education workshops throughout the year. Our teaching staff consists of Ellie Herman and other EHS master Pilates instructors with specialized training and degrees in other disciplines (orthopedic massage, chiropractic, physical therapy, muscle energy). In addition, we bring in master teachers from other disciplines and other Pilates studios.
EHS Pilates Institute is a vibrant learning environment. We have an inclusive rather than exclusive attitude towards Pilates, and welcome new ideas to expand our knowledge. Ellie believes in evolving the Pilates method and continually expands the repertoire with new exercises and variations to keep the work alive. Our San Francisco studio is the biggest in the bay area with over 30 certified instructors to learn from, many of whom have several years of training and rehabilitation knowledge under their belt. Brooklyn, our newest addition to the EHS family, will be growing its staff of teachers, with Ellie at the helm.
